To our patients and families:

The COVID19 outbreak has impacted us all.  To protect you and our staff, we are only seeing newborns and infants for their 2, 4, 6, 12 and 15 month appointments.  It is imperative that we see these patients and vaccinate according to the American Academy of Pediatrics' immunization schedule to prevent those diseases that we are able.  We will also see 4 year olds who have a younger sibling so that we can give them their booster vaccinations.  In order to decrease everyone's risk of exposure, we ask that only one parent come to these appointments (except newborns) and no siblings come to the office.  If you have any risk factors for the coronavirus (fever, cough, shortness of breath, vomiting or diarrhea, travel within the past 14 days or exposure to a known coronavirus patient) please let our office know during our screening phone call and do not enter the office.  We will be glad to see all other patients via Telemedicine.  Please call the office so we can direct you to the doctor taking these calls.

We encourage you to strictly adhere to the CDC guidelines and the American Academy of Pediatrics.  We provided links below for your reference.

Wash hands frequently, especially before eating and after the bathroom and after diaper changes.  Do not touch your face.  Clean surfaces.  Shelter in place.

We know this is difficult with active children.  We need to do all we can to contain this virus and prevent illness.  Taking walks with the family is great but be sure to stay at least 6 feet away from others while ensuring the safety of your children.  The virus can live on surfaces so the playground might not be the best place to be unless you wipe down surfaces.

Be creative - you can have virtual dinners and playdates and come up with unique and clever ways to entertain your kids.

If you or your child has fever, cough and body aches, please self quarantine.  You can call us if you have questions.  We are here to help and evaluate your children.  We are happy to visit with you online.  Be safe, be healthy.  We look forward to seeing you soon.
