Biography

Dr. Mindy Maggid is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She received a B.A. in Medical Ethics and a M.SC. in Anthropology with a specialization in Biomedical Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania.  She graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Georgetown University Medical Center.  She received the Hugh Hussey Award, presented to those residents demonstrating excellence in Medical student teaching and received the Resident of the Year award. Prior to joining Shady Grove Pediatric Associates in 2005, Dr. Maggid practiced for ten years at a private practice in Rockville, MD.
